China Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd. ir iekļauta China Aluminium Corporation, China Minmetals Corporation un Ganzhou Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd., lai panāktu papildu priekšrocības retzemju resursos un sinerģiju retzemju nozares attīstībā. Uzņēmums un pārējie divi retzemju tehnoloģiju pētniecības un izstrādes uzņēmumi ir liela mēroga-retzemju uzņēmumu grupas, kas izveidotas saskaņā ar mārketinga un tiesiskuma principiem.
Pēc izveidošanas China Rare Earth Group ir centrālais uzņēmums ar diversificētu pašu kapitālu, kas atrodas tiešā Valsts padomes -valstij piederošo aktīvu uzraudzības un administrēšanas komisijas pārraudzībā. Līdzdalības struktūra ir 31,21 procents Valsts padomes Valsts aktīvu uzraudzības un pārvaldes komisijai; China Aluminium Corporation, China Minmetals Corporation un Ganzhou Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd. katrai pieder 20,33 procenti; Ķīnas dzelzs un tērauda pētniecības tehnoloģiju grupai Co., Ltd. un Youyan Technology Group Co., Ltd. pieder 3,90 procenti. China Rare Earth Group izveide ir Chinalco, China Minmetals un Ganzhou Rare Earth Group izdevīga izpēte un mēģinājums, pamatojoties uz savām attīstības vajadzībām un pielāgojoties nozares attīstības likumam.
